Terms of Participation

Below you can find the terms of participation of TravelYou regarding all the daily excursions. We suggest you to read them carefully as you have to comply with them once you complete a booking through the website. TravelYou reserves the right to change the terms of participation any time finds it necessary.

USER’S ACCOUNT ON THE TRAVELYOU WEBSITE

The client must create a user account on the website of TravelYou and provide the necessary information during the reservation process (full name, telephone, e-mail) for the final confirmation of the reservation. The client is responsible for the confidentiality of the private password and can change it any time he/she wishes. The client can deactivate the user account on the website anytime.

MINORS – BABIES–CHILDREN

TravelYou does not provide services to minors (<18 years old) without adult supervision.

  • Children 1-5 travel free
  • Children at the age 6-14 travel with -50% discount on the price of the ticket.
  • Children at the age 15 + travel with the price of the ticket.

The coaches do not provide child safety seats.

PETS

The transfer of small-sized animals up to 7 kg is permitted only in special dimensions baskets of 50x40x70cm, with a muzzle and only in the passenger compartment. The responsibility for their supervision throughout the duration of the trip (food, water, shadow, tranquillity) is of their owners. The owners must also comply with the pet policy and the rules of each.

PAYMENT

The payment is realized via credit, debit and prepaid cards of Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners, Discover

PRICES

The price for all the activities is per person. The price of the ticket does not include either the client’s personal expenses or the tip for the driver, trip-attendant or guide. The price is subject to change without notification.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation of the reservation can be made for free 48 hours before the start of the tour. Otherwise, the cost of the tour is non-refundable.

LOSS-THEFT

If a ticket is lost or stolen, the customer should sendan email to travelyou.gr, in order to give details and get a new voucher. If a ticket is lost or stolen just before the departure of the bus, the customer should give to the trip attendant his/her data, so that he/she can confirm the reservation and allow him/her the entrance.

Transaction Security

All payments made using the card are processed through the electronic payment platform of “Nexi XPay” of Nexi Payments Greece S.A. and uses TLS 1.2 encryption protocol encryption with 128-bit (Secure Sockets Layer – SSL). Encryption is a way of coding the information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data
